While painting "Crashing Into Love" I felt an overwhelming wave of love envelop me, as if I was standing in the middle of the ocean, where the depth of the water mirrored the depth of my emotions. Each brushstroke was a release, a conversation between my heart and the canvas. The waves seemed to rise and fall with my feelings, their rhythm echoing the push and pull of love—at times tender, at times powerful, but always consuming. The act of painting became a journey, a way to express the boundless, raw, and almost mystical energy of love, moving me like the ocean itself.
This artwork, measuring 60.9 x 121.8 cm, is painted with acrylics on canvas. The colors dance in a harmonious symphony of turquoise and teal, representing the sea’s endless depth and movement. Soft whites foam at the crest of each wave, while delicate touches of pink add warmth and passion, blending seamlessly with the horizon. Above the waves, the sky glows in gentle hues of peach, blush, and muted lavender, creating a dreamlike quality that blurs the line between the earthly and the ethereal. The rich textures and layered colors invite the viewer to immerse themselves in this emotional seascape, feeling its rhythm and energy.
